Bellingham Senior Activity Center Tour Program
hosts “June Cruise Month”!
May 24, 2019 –Join the BSAC Tour Program as we offer Travel Presentations all month long. Enjoy presentations from some of the top cruise lines in the industry. Each cruise package includes port excursions, river or ocean view rooms, beverages included with meals, including fine wines and beer, and port taxes and fees. Each cruise line differs in other perks added to the package.
“I have been working with Expedia Cruise Ship Centers on finding the right trips and cruise lines for our older adult travelers”, says Darcie Romero, Tours Coordinator. “Utilizing results from a Cruise Survey given earlier in the year, I believe we are offering just what our cruise travelers are looking for. We have never offered this many cruises in a given year”.
Expedia Cruise Ship Centers will be on-hand at each presentation to sign up and assist you in finding the right room and help navigate the registration process.
At the Bellingham Senior Activity Center our Tour Program keeps Whatcom County older adults, of all ages, exploring, engaging and meeting new people. You do not have to be a member in order to use this service. Many of the trips are geared for the Older Adult traveler (age 55 and older) but there is no age requirement to take advantage of the BSAC tours. Many individuals will bring along an adult son or daughter to accompany them on a trip.
Perhaps the most compelling reason to plan your travel through the BSAC Tours program is that each Tour Operator supports the BSAC financially for each traveler registered through the BSAC. We work with independent licensed travel companies that want to give back to the older adult community in which they advertise.
