Whether you’re seeking a companion or a soulmate, here’s your chance to get to know a variety of interesting people in a series of five-minute chats. Space is limited.

Takes place Saturday, March 9th, 2-4pm. Must register by Feb. 23 with Bellingham Senior Activity Center.

Donate to support a senior with an emergency meal box this winter

Your gift of $25 would sponsor an emergency meal box for a homebound senior!

Each week, Meals on Wheels volunteer drivers deliver seven meals, milk and bread to more than 500 Whatcom County seniors.  With winter weather approaching, it is important to make sure our homebound seniors have food in case ice, snow or flooding prevent delivery.  Our shelf stable emergency meal boxes contain a week’s worth of meals. Dewey Griffin Subaru is generously matching the first $2,500 raised!

BSAC is open for classes and activities!

Monday – Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm and Saturday, 9:00am-12:00pm

Gym Closed Mon/Fri 11am-12pm for a class.

Please stay home if you are feeling under the weather or have a household member who has tested positive for Covid.  If you have been exposed to Covid please wear a mask in BSAC for 10 days.

Bellingham Senior Activity Center

The Bellingham Senior Activity Center was established in 1961. We directly operate a 1,600+ member senior center in Bellingham. We coordinate wellness programs for seniors including strength and balance classes for fall prevention, strength training classes, Tai Chi, dancing, walking and hiking groups, flu shot clinics, and a variety of other classes and activities.

Whether you’re interested in art, health & wellness, computer skills, current events, dancing or socializing with friends, you’ll find a wealth of fun-filled activities to educate, stimulate and entertain you at the Center.

About our logo: The ‘tree of life’ design brings together a number of ideas: circle of life, reaching out, growing and changing with the stages of life. The circles are representative of fellowship, gathering friends and family together. At the Bellingham Senior Activity Center we believe that every stage of life offers opportunities for growth, discovery and fellowship and we offer a wide array of activities to challenge, delight and inspire.
